Terms of use
This website provides information about Codplex services and activities. Sending an enquiry does not place an order or conclude a contract. The scope and terms of each engagement are agreed separately.
- Content and visual identity are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Reproduction requires the rights holder’s written permission, subject to statutory exceptions and third-party rights.
- Use the website lawfully, without deception, unauthorised access or disruption. External links are governed by the terms and policies of their respective websites.

Personal data and enquiries
When you use the contact form or email info@codplex.com, we process the information you provide to review and respond to your enquiry. The form includes your name or business name, email, optional phone number, project type, subject, message and optional attachments. Providing the necessary contact details allows us to reply; it is not a requirement for using the website.
- For quote or collaboration requests, processing is based on pre-contractual steps you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For general communication, it is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We do not subscribe you to marketing, profile you or make automated decisions.
- The website is hosted on a Hetzner server in Helsinki, Finland. We use Brevo to send emails from website services. Incoming mail to info@codplex.com is forwarded through Namecheap Email Forwarding to the owner’s personal Gmail mailbox, where only the owner handles enquiries. Providers receive data to the extent needed to deliver their services. We do not sell personal data. The owner does not create additional copies in a CRM or a separate backup system.
- Provider services may involve processing outside the EEA. You can request information about applicable transfer mechanisms and related safeguards at info@codplex.com. We do not claim that all data is stored exclusively in the EU.
- For routine enquiries that have closed without an engagement, we delete messages and attachments from the mailbox, including Trash, no later than 12 months after the last communication, and sooner when they are no longer needed. We review these monthly. If an engagement follows, we retain separately only the information needed to support it. Information required for legal obligations or legal claims is kept for as long as the relevant purpose requires. Brevo is configured for one month of logs and no storage of new message previews. Deletion from the mailbox does not mean immediate deletion of all providers’ technical copies.
- Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal data. We apply technical and organisational safeguards and restrict access to the people who need it.

Technical data and security
The infrastructure processes technical connection and request data to operate and secure the website and investigate errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation and protection against abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Access logs are disabled for normal delivery of website pages and the form. The shared infrastructure may log technical errors and requests that do not match the website routes. Form outcome logs contain an event code, request identifier, status and time, without the message, sender details or attachments.
- Technical logs are separate from correspondence and are not subject to the 12-month retention limit for closed enquiries. Application logs rotate according to their size limit, with up to two files of approximately 1 MB each. This does not represent a fixed retention period in days or a limit for all shared infrastructure logs. We do not use these logs for advertising tracking.

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and exercise rights to object or data portability where applicable. Send requests to info@codplex.com.
- We normally respond within one month, in accordance with the GDPR. We may request the information necessary to verify your identity.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority: www.dpa.gr.

Cookies and privacy options
When enabled on this website, optional Google Analytics 4 loads only after your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). It measures visits and successful enquiries, with Google Ireland Limited as provider. Rejecting does not prevent browsing or contacting us. When this feature is off, no consent prompt appears and Google Analytics does not load.
- Acceptance and rejection are equally available. Use “Withdraw consent / privacy choices” in the footer to withdraw consent and choose again. Withdrawal stops new transmissions and deletes this website’s analytics cookies; it does not undo data already sent.
- Your choice is stored locally in your browser for up to 180 days, shared across Greek and English. If accepted, the _ga and _ga_L1FTRQSRE8 cookies last up to 180 days without automatic renewal. We measure the public page path, language and a successful enquiry after email delivery acceptance; we do not send form text, sender details, attachments, query strings or referrers. Google also receives technical connection/device data. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals. Cookie lifetime does not determine data retention on Google servers.
- Google processing may involve international transfers under its data processing terms. For rights or retention information contact info@codplex.com. Optional analytics remain off without JavaScript.
- When the form operates, the essential contact-csrf security cookie protects against forged submissions for up to 15 minutes. It is not issued while the form is off. Blocking it may prevent form use, but does not prevent browsing.
